This Saturday Night is the Favorite Food Show and Achievement Night at the Jones County Senior Center. Youth and adults may start setting up for the Food Show at 4:30pm, judging will begin at 5pm. You are allowed to warm food at the Senior Center, however all prep work and major cooking is to be done at home! Achievement Night will follow the Favorite Food Show.
As a way to honor this year's state 4-H theme "4-H Hungry to Help" the teens on county council are asking everyone who attend to bring at least one canned or non-perishable food item. These items will be donated to the Jones County Salvation Army to help families who are in need in Jones County.
