This week 4-Hers from across the state had the opportunity to attend NC 4-H Citizenship Focus, June 13-15, 2011. Jones County sent two 4-Hers to this event: Mary Downs and Andrew Reid. During Citizenship Focus Mary and Andrew had the opportunity to learn more about the NC government through workshops, guest speakers, and a visit to the NC legislative buildings, where they had the opportunity to meet with their House and Senate Representatives. Both said it was a great experience!
